This week, Microsoft unveiled its partners its calendar of upcoming software releases. Created in December 2011, it is nonetheless interesting since the release details of the major products of 2012 as Office 15, Internet Explorer 10 and Windows Phone.
According to this document, 10 Internet Explorer (IE 10) will be released mid-year, probably in conjunction with the Release Candidate of Windows 8 which is expected in June. The roadmap shows only little information about Windows 8: Only the Developer Preview is indicated, but neither the Consumer Preview Release February 29 or Release Candidate scheduled for June We do not know about the final release date of Windows 8 which is expected yet this fall.
If we follow the schedule of Microsoft, Office 15, the next version of Microsoft Office Suite (Office 14 is called Office 2010) will be released in early 2013. The public beta is scheduled for late this summer, which was confirmed by Microsoft. Towards the end of 2012 are specified as Futures Investments for Windows Phone, which may indicate the launch of Apollo, aka Windows Phone 8, the next version of the smartphone which is expected this fall.
