After a big facelift and a heightened social side of its search engine (U.S. version), Microsoft continues its efforts to Bing in dealing with image search. In the U.S., it represents 7% of all searches Bing.
A new interface is deployed to provide thumbnails of larger and results in a reduced spacing between each. Bottom left of each thumbnail, an icon provides access to more sizes.
New features are also emerging as a magnifying glass which always fires hover with the mouse pointer but follows it before switching to another image.
Located at the top of the page, a bar can quickly filter results based on the size of an image, color, type, only the faces ...
Always the top, search suggestions are displayed. To the right of the page are associated with research and trends (what other users have viewed most).
This deployment (to be tested with the U.S. version) comes as part of its Yahoo! also revised its search feature images (and videos). Recall that the Yahoo! search results are provided by Bing.
