Mars Has Got Tectonic Plates Like Earth

Mars is similar to earth in a lot of ways. First, one day almost equals 24 hours. It snows on Mars and now Scientist have found one more similarity. Mars has got Tectonic plates, yes the plates which results in earthquakes on earth. 

Over the years of close study, UCLA Professor An Lin confirmed it this week after analyzing more than 100 satellite images from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. 

Yin Said "Many of the features looked very much like fault systems I have seen in the Himalayas and Tibet, and in California as well, including the geomorphology" 

Curiosity landed on Mars and beamed First Hi-Res pics of Red Planet. And Yin assures that Mars rover is sure to find even more similarities during its two-year trip.
