Those with a Chromebook at home and who swear by Chrome OS may be very happy because a new beta version has been deployed on the "dev channel". A version that brings quite a lot of improvements and bug fixes, of course, but also and especially that integrates a size feature, Google Drive. Morality, if you have an Acer AC700 or Samsung Series 5, something tells me you'll be very happy and understandably so completely, especially since this integration seems to be very careful.
From the outset, a new entry has been added to the file browser Chrome OS, an entry which refers of course to Google Drive. The user can then access their documents stored on Google Docs, it's true, but also add new files to a personal cloud with a few clicks. Better, he can also set Drive for all downloaded files are automatically stored on it. Kind you receive a new attachment by mail, you want to recover it on your computer, hop straight into the magical boiboite. Okay, this is nothing revolutionary, but it can still be handy.
Similarly and as we mentioned in a previous article, we also know that you can find on the Chrome Web Store a large number of applications using Google Drive, applications that can be installed on course Chrome OS and that you will ultimately get more out of your storage dematerialized. For now, of course, all developers have not yet taken the plunge, but eventually these integrations should greatly facilitate your life and they will undoubtedly contribute to the development of Chrome OS in the coming years.
However, note that I do not know if the new version of Chrome OS available on the "dev channel" includes the new window manager. So if you have the info, I'm interested.
