According to the latest reports, we now know more about the Sony Xperia Pepper which is expected to have a 1GHz dual-core processor, 3.7-inch FWVGA (480 x 854) screen, Android Ice Cream Sandwich, 5MP camera with 720p video recording and NFC Technology.
The phone is also apparently working with a 1GHz processor, but we'd expect that to be a dual core option when it lands in our hands... benchmarks can sometime spew out odd specs.
Wait, what's this? The Sony Pepper has been snapped and benchmarked too? Coming with a 3.7-inch, 854 x 480 resolution display with a single-core 1GHz processor too (apparently) the phone scored 47.80 on the test.
There's more to be seen too - September's releases look the most promising, with the Sony Mint seemingly coming packed with some next-gen technology, thanks to the €500-plus price tag.
We've already seen Smart Tags feature with the Xperia S and Sony looks set to push NFC technology to more of its handsets.
The Xperia Pepper is likely to receive a name change before it hits the market, probably making it fall in line with the single lettered approach Sony seems to have adopted for the Xperia S, Xperia U and Xperia P.
so What do you expect ?
