Mountain Lion OS X: Update to solve problems

After a major release as could be the operating system OS X Lion Mountain, Apple does not usually too slow to fix bugs first reassembled. For the latest OS for Mac, it would take almost a month.

Via general fixes, update OS X 10.8.1 is intended to improve the stability and compatibility of the Mac. An ad for a regular update service which is followed by a list a little more explicit.

The release notes are part of several such patches. Correcting an issue that could cause unexpected Migration Wizard, audio playback via a screen Thunderbolt, sending IMessages or a problem connecting to SMB servers with long names.

Improved compatibility when connecting to a Microsoft Exchange server in Mail is also discussed. By cons, there is no mention of a fix for the problem of the falling battery found by some owners of MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.

A developer who had access to OS X 10.8.1 before its public release stated, however, that significant improvements have been made at the battery. On the forums, user comments are in the same direction after passing OS X 10.8.1 but not all are satisfied.

The update can be obtained via the usual channels but also from the Mac App Store. The updated OS X 10.8.2 is already in preparation in his luggage with Facebook integration (like Twitter earlier) which is scheduled for next fall.
