Facebook Grabs The Facebookconnect.com Domain Name

After filing a complaint with the National Arbitration forum, Facebook has been given the FacebookConnect.com Domain name. This complaint was filed a month back in the end of June. It was an easy win, why not, "Facebook" is a protected name.


For people wondering what is Facebook Connect: Facebook Connect is a set of API's that enable Facebook members to log onto third-party websites, applications, mobile devices and gaming systems with their FB profile.


When Facebook filed the complaint, they got no response from the owner, so the Web site was transferred over to Facebook.
