iPhone 5: two million in 24 hours

The California company has introduced its iPhone 5 on Wednesday and opened the preorder either the Apple Store online or via operator partners, Friday, Sept. 14. From this weekend, Apple announced new data records, without communicating precisely the amount of bookings. This morning, AT & T also outbid by announcing that the iPhone 5 iPhone model was the most controlled in the history of the operator during the first day, but also during the weekend.

As usual, Apple has issued a press release to the point of pre-orders for iPhone 5 which actually set a new record. The Cupertino company announced that the number of pre-orders exceeded two million in just 24 hours. By comparison, Apple had registered 600,000 preorders for the iPhone 4 in 2010 and one million for the iPhone 4S in 2011. Despite the disappointment of some, the iPhone 5 already seems to have found its audience.
