NASA confirms Ice and Organic Matter On Mercury
Some evidence of presence of Organic matter on Mercury has been confirmed by NASA. MESSENGER spacecraft, which was orbiting the planet, confirms that the impact craters in the polar regions contain not only a whopping amount of frozen water (ICE), but also the black patches, which you can see above, contains Organic Material. These findings were published online in three papers for Science Express. To put this on a perspective, Curiosity Rover on Mars is yet to find Organic Substance on Mars. Though life isn't sustainable there as temperature gets as high as 800 degrees Fahrenheit but since of low axial tilt, Mercury's poles in extreme darkness allows ice to form.
According to NASA, the ice appears to be from a recent or ongoing process, and could have been delivered by comets from the far reaches of the solar system. And, Organic substance could also have been delivered by the same way. This also depicts, if Ice and Organic matter delivered by Comet (external source), life exists on other planets, or there are some ET places which can sustain life.

Wat is iTunes?
iTunes is a media player and media library application developed by Apple Inc. It is used to play, download, save, and organize digital audio and video on personal computers running the OS X operating system and the iOS-based iPod, iPhone, andiPad devices. Editions of iTunes are also released for Microsoft Windows. It can connect to the iTunes Store to let users purchase and download music, music videos, television shows, iPod games, audiobooks, podcasts, movies and movie rentals in select countries, and ringtones, available on the iPhone and iPod Touch (fourth generation onward.) It is also used to download application software from the App Storefor the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. iTunes has been criticized for not being able to transfer music from one portable device to another.
iTunes was introduced on January 9, 2001. In June 2010, Apple released a newprivacy policy relating to the establishment and collection of users' real-time location information. The information had been included in various device-specific EULAs(end-user license agreement ) since 2008, but was not included in Apple's general privacy policy until 2010.
iTunes 10.7 is the most recent version of iTunes available for Mac OS X v10.6.8 or later, as well as Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. On September 12, 2012, with the announcement of the iPhone 5 and the new generations of the iPod Nano and iPod Touch, Apple announced a revamped version of iTunes to be release
d in October 2012, however the release was pushed back to the middle of December after Apple revealed it was taking longer than expected to finalise the software.

Windows Blue: Microsoft Plans To Release A New Version Of Windows Every Year
Microsoft Blue was a codename that Microsoft used for a project, that we not yet know anything about. In August, three months before the big Windows 8 release, "Blue: Project" was getting headlines. Some of the reporters at that time thought it was "Windows 9, the next big thing", while others thought "It was just another service pack (sort of)". But for now if you believe the unnamed sources, Windows Blue is a major update to Windows 8, and also the begninning of a major shift that will result in a major release of Windows every 12 months (just like what Apple is doing with OS X right now)
Adding to it, sources also believe that Blue will roll out in mid 2013, which will be possibly free. Or even if Microsoft charged for it, it will be comparable to what Apple charged for upgrading to Mountain lion.
Slashdot writes
Exact details are still rather vague, but at the very least Blue will make 'UI changes' to Windows 8. The sources also indicate that the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 SDKs will be merged or standardized, to further simplify the development of cross-platform apps. Perhaps more important, though, is the shift to a 12-month release cadence. Historically, Microsoft has released a major version of Windows every few years, with the intervening periods populated with stability- and security-oriented service packs. Now it seems that Microsoft wants to move to an OS X-like system, where new and exciting features will be added on an annual basis. In turn, Microsoft will drop the price of these releases — probably to around $25, just like OS X.It makes sense, since Apple and Google are making their development cycles shorter and shorter, Microsoft needs to add features in OS pretty seriously fast.

Microsoft: Windows Phone 7.8 Update Coming In Early 2013
Microsoft as of today announced that they will be bringing Windows Phone 7.8 upgrade to all the existing Windows Phone 7.5 Devices. Adding to it, this update will be available to download in early 2013. In case you missed something, Windows Phone 7.8 brings resizable Live tiles, just like Windows Phone 8, plus adding some new security for exchange users. Though Windows Phone 7.8 doesn't bring any new or hard-core functionality to Windows Phone 7.5 devices, it just adds better visuals, like v8 to older devices. Head over to Windows Blog for full post.

After One Month, Windows 8 is Already on Track To Outsell Windows 7
Windows 8 had mixed reviews, but when it comes to sales it just crushed every other OS in the market. Microsoft sold nearly 40 Million copies of Windows 8 in a month.
What's ridiculously great is, Windows 8 can beat Windows 7 in coming months.
The Next Web has a very good analysis.
Windows 7 launched on October 22, 2009. In January 2010, Microsoft revealed that through the second quarter (ended December 31, 2009), the company had sold “over 60 million Windows 7 licenses making it the fastest selling operating system in history.”
That means 60 million licenses sold in just over two months, or 70 days. Broken down on a day-by-day basis, that’s more than 857,142 licenses sold per day.
Windows 8 launched on October 26, 2012. On November 27, Microsoft revealed that it has sold 40 million Windows 8 licenses so far.
That means 40 million licenses sold in just over a month, or 32 days. Broken down on a day-by-day basis, that’s more than 1,250,000 licenses sold per day. That’s 45.8 percent higher than Windows 8.
Note that the latest Windows 8 numbers were not revealed as part of a quarterly earnings release, meaning that Microsoft thinks they are quite good. Compared to Windows 7, which is the top dog, Microsoft is right.

Gmail Integrates With Drive, You Can Now Send Files Up to 10 GB
Google Drive, Dropbox killer -- Sort of -- was launched in April by Google, hadn't been integrated with another Google service so tightly. Starting today, Gmail Team has integrated Google Drive into your Gmail so that you can send attachments that are whopping big.
Official Gmail Blog wrote
"...with Drive, you can insert filesup to 10GB -- 400 times larger than what you can send as a traditional attachment. Also, because you’re sending a file stored in the cloud, all your recipients will have access to the same, most-up-to-date version.
Like a smart assistant, Gmail will also double-check that your recipients all have access to any files you’re sending. This works like Gmail’s forgotten attachment detector: whenever you send a file from Drive that isn’t shared with everyone, you’ll be prompted with the option to change the file’s sharing settings without leaving your email. It’ll even work with Drive links pasted directly into emails."
