Here's Everything We'll Be Seeing On Google's Android Event On Oct 29

Google has announced an Android event on October 29 which we already reported. But now The Next Web has came across a leak of what is going to be revealed on October 29.

A source with knowledge of Google’s plans has told The Next Web that the search giant has been distributing a video recorded at one of its weekly all-hands “TGIF” meetings on its internal network, which details the devices that will be unveiled at its hastily arranged October 29 event.

Here is all that will be revealed at Android event on October 29

  • 32 GB Nexus 7 with HSPA+ support: Everyone with a 16 GB nexus 7 model is crying hard for a 32 Gig model. And we already have heard couple of times that a 32 GB model was in works. So it makes sense.
  • A 10" Samsung build tablet: Sure Google wants to compete with Apple. And when Apple is going to unveil a 7 inch model, Google is increasing its display to 10 inch to compete with iPad. The Next Web says that "Internally the tablet goes under the name “ Code name Manta”, runs Google’s new Android 4.2 operating system (previously referred to as Key Lime Pie, but is set to retain the Jelly Bean branding), and will offer a 2560×1600 pixel (10:16) resolution, which we believe will offer around 300 pixels per inch (PPI) compared to the new iPad’s 264 PPI  "
  • A LG build Nexus 4: Every rumor is now pointing towards a single LG made Nexus 4. We already have seen it leaked with some great specs. Here is the spec rundown " a quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon processor, 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 display, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera (and 1.3-megapixel front-facing snapper) and a 2100mAh battery."
  • And new android: Android 4.2 will debut with LG nexus 4 and will be available to Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7 as an update. This will be an small update from current 4.1 Jelly bean.
Google's Android event is held just 3 hours prior to the Microsoft big Windows phone 8 release. Sure they want to take all the media coverage and want Microsoft guys to moan in the dark. Yup, Google is playing some dirty game here.
