Google Chrome tabs are stacked

Forums of Google Chrome, the stack of tabs is part of the recurring demands of users. Some of them have thus taken as an example the Opera browser which has been offering its version 11 release in April 2011.

The demand for this functionality in Google Chrome could soon be met since it was identified in a development version of Google Chrome 21. It is also found with Chrome Canary where the latest news in the pipeline can be tested.

For now, this feature called Stacked Tabs is experimental because it must be activated via the flags of Chromium (chrome :/ / flags in the address bar). It is only present with the Windows version.

Stacked with Tabs, tabs are never shrunk in the tab bar when several are open. Instead, the tabs are stacked on each other when there is more than enough space.

This stack is by cons not very conducive to easily find one or more tabs open. In the matter, Firefox has the ability to organize tabs by group.
