Rumor: Google buys Twitter

The plummeting stock market action revives a rumor that Facebook Business Insider had already mentioned a few weeks ago. Google could buy Twitter!

For social networks, the adventure market seems difficult since the most important of them is having difficulty convincing. What a chilling effect of an actor like Twitter, and will therefore be to look twice to a takeover offer from Google.

If one believes Business Insider, the interest is clear for both parties. That leaves the question of price that would be the last step.

Twitter could benefit from the skill no doubt Google's advertising revenue, while the search engine would feed new social data.

 A rumor still raises many questions, the main one being: what about Google +? In some ways, Google has integrated + a bit of spirit in Twitter functionality. It is clear however that the "chirp" is not really to go.

Last summer, Twitter did not renew the agreement that allowed Google to use its real-time service in the engine. Earlier this year, Google launched Search, Plus Your World that allows the user logged into his account to get custom results using mainly Google + (not yet for google.fr). Twitter had raised concerns of abuse of dominant position.
