Samsung’s Galaxy S3 Smartphone model shipped 18.0 million units worldwide during the third quarter of 2012, Apple shipped 16.2 million iPhone units. That second-place finish was partially achieved due to the widely-rumored iPhone 5, which motivated consumers to hold off on purchases.Samsung also says “They sold 57 Million of such devices [Samsung Galaxy S3]”, while Apple sold just around half of that figure.
Say it like this, for every 2 Galaxy S3 sold by Samsung, Apple sells an iPhone which is just double the price of a Galaxy S3. Plus you get a great customer support, non-plastic battery door, a non-oversized screen and no bloatware.
P.S. -- I am certainly not a big fan of Touch-wiz. (And certainly not of Samsung too)
