Google: huge database of links pirates

This is not really new, but TorrentFreak decided to play the itching powder bouncing on the recent report of transparency of Google. It now takes into account requests for removal of links to copyright violations.

But by playing the transparency, the search engine is found in victim somehow. This is at least think that TorrentFreak writes that Google created the "database of links to pirated content the world's largest".

Even if there is a little bad faith, the site refers to the participation of Google's initiative to Chilling Effects. A contribution that is several years old. Particular, ChillingEffects.org indexes all requests faced by Google under the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act, U.S. law against infringements of copyright).

ChillingEffects.org on, it is possible to find withdrawal requests sent to Google for links to pirated works with URLs ... have the knowledge of these URLs.

Research is facilitated with the transparency report which provides direct access to applications listed, but it is also possible to just focus a search on Google ChillingEffects.org (website: chillingeffects.org) plus the name of a content.

Fairly comical, TorrentFreak found applications for withdrawal of links themselves to withdrawal applications on ChillingEffects.org.
