How to Skip Firefox Addon Compatibility Check and What's New Page

For people using Firefox-es, their biggest annoyance is the Add-on Compatibility check. You'll notice it every time when your Firefox gets updated or when you switch between different Firefox versions. Depending on the number of Add-ons, it may take time ranging from some seconds to some minutes. After once or twice it becomes annoying. Also every time when you change Firefox, on first boot you land on a "What's New Page". But heres a single fix for both of these annoyances.

Skip Addon Compatibility Check takes care of both these issues. It disables the add-on compatibility check automatically and the best part is it even do not require a restart. But the What's New Page has to be disabled manually.

For disabling it:

1. Type "About :addons" and then find "Skip Add-ons Compatibility Check".

2. Click on Options next to it.

3. Locate What’s new page on switching between different versions of Firefox and select no there to block the page from being displayed in the Mozilla Firefox web browser.

This is a nice fix for frequent firefox switchers and updaters.
