Samsung: 380 smartphones sold each minute

Samsung is the new world leader in smartphone market and has successfully managed to impose its Galaxy range. But the context of global economic uncertainty raises fears of a fall in demand for these expensive devices which could have a significant impact on its financial results.

The Korean group remains very positive and strongly reaffirms the role of engine of growth in its mobile arm. He just announced that it expects a record operating profit for the second quarter of 2012, the order of 6.7 trillion won (almost $ 6 billion).

The current quarter could therefore do better and analysts expect an increase in operating profit of the activity of nearly 30%.
